Clients have many options and materials to choose from for their custom signs. Many effects can be achieved with the right choice of materials. For example, we can achieve a gold effect on a sign by covering a PVC board with gold adhesive film.
Choice of materials depends on our clients’ needs and the desired effect. Below we see a sign constructed from several different materials: a plexi sheet glued with decorative letters and shapes, mounted on a Dibond sheet covered with printed adhesive film.
PVC sheet, laid with printed adhesive film top layer, or tailor cut plexi (acrylic) lettering
Dibond sheet, laid with printed adhesive film top layer or tailor cut plexi lettering
Plexi sheet, glued with plexi or aluminum dibond lettering (gold, silver, copper, brushed, colored)
If the information on the plexi sign will be changed after a time, an esthetic solution is to use two plexi pieces for the sign — then information can be placed between the two. Plexi signs are most often mounted to the wall using standoffs.

We choose sign materials to match the needs of our client company or institution and the effect that they wish to achieve.
As can be seen below, sometimes a small but elegant engraved signplate is just right.
